This wonderful species from Sulawesi is often referred to as the toothless hamata. It gets the hairy lid, dark coloration, and pitcher shape from hamata, as well as a very similar growth habit and leaf structure, yet differs in that it does not have the exaggerated teeth from hamata. It is a really wonderful species that is fun to grow side by side with its close relative hamata.
